Search Engine Optimisation Presentations
at the Better Health Channel's Website Marketing Seminar
June 7 2002 saw around 125 eager content providers for the Victorian Government's Better Health Channel gather for a morning of non stop information on marketing your website. Most were from non-profit or government organisations and were keen to know how they could build a solid presence on the internet without breaking their (all too often) meagre budgets.
Sam Patterson from Fenton Communications kicked off with the important "Principles to guide your approach to marketing". Wendy Fenton from Roadhouse Technologies covered "Practical and low-cost approaches to promoting your site". Then Janet Pearson, Managing Consultant at Technology Matters took the floor with "Search engines - how they work and how to make them work for you".
Janet said, " It was one of the most exciting seminars I have spoken at. The room was really abuzz and you could almost sense their hunger to know more."
